Saw the Buzzcocks at El Corazon last night and left the show terribly depressed. They're old and all of their songs sound alike. But the biggest problem ws the venue: El Corazon sucks. How many bars need to fail in that space before someone figures out that nobody wants to navigate a labyrinth to find the restroom? There was no ventilation--it was worse than when people could smoke in bars. The bartender spent more time chatting with her friends than serving people, which led to unnecessarily long lines. And they ran out of water.
I might have enjoyed the band more if they had played at the Croc or the Showbox, but oh well. It isn't like I haven't heard them before. |
